The above gentleman is vowing to only use products made in China after his Mercedes-Benz S350 failed to deploy its airbags after he rear-ended a truck in China. Let’s forget the fact that it is somewhat obvious that the airbags did not deploy because he drove himself UNDER the rear of the truck like wedge. In such a situation, the airbag sensors usually located in the front bumper could easily have not been tripped. Let’s also choose to ignore the high probability that seat-belts were not employed (though judging by the fact that he’s alive, the accident mustn’t have been that bad).
With that in mind, I can surely understand being disappointed with Mercedes-Benz. Really, I can. I mean, after all, when you spend that much money, you do expect (even if unrealistically) that all that money is going to keep you safe and sound and generally make you invincible. If my German cock-chariot isn’t made from the steel of Panzer tanks, then what why the hell did I spend that much money then? I mean, at the very least the airbag with thousands of soft, life-saving hundred RMB notes should cushion my precious noggin, right?
What I can’t understand is why you’d go from being disappointed with Mercedes-Benz, skip irrationally distrusting all German products alone, and vow to only use Made-in-China goods for the rest of your life (which, odds are, won’t be very long if he really goes through with it). I mean, why? Why would anyone do that to themselves?
Only Chinese products? Forever? Are you serious?!
